I’ve been digging through my collection of Holly Cole stuff lately and really miss her older material and style. I had a chance to see her a few years ago at Jazz Fest in Vancouver and was really underwhelmed. Her newest album is a return to some of those roots (thankfully) but I had to go back even further for the stuff that made me fall in love with her on oh so many levels.
