So, the Watson Twins decide to cover the Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” and drench it in country strum and harmonica. Hrm. Remember when everyone made fun of the Nu-Metal bands that were doing easy eighties covers to get radio play? Indie artists shouldn’t be immune to the same criticism. It’s a nice take on the song but it would have been nicer to hear a song of their own that was this good. I guess the generation of indie kids behind me needs their own Cowboy Junkies to fawn over. Good for them.
